In early April, electronic designers gathered from around the globe in Beijing for the technical conference and trade show, EDI CON. In addition to exhibiting, we delivered a “standing room only” workshop on the advantages of UltraCMOS® technology. We also hosted 12 of China’s premier technical editors at a press conference to introduce them to Global 1 and the UltraCMOS power limiters.
Our UltraCMOS power limiters represent the industry’s first turnkey, monolithic solutions to provide an alternative to discrete, PIN-diode limiters based on GaAs. The power limiters feature high maximum power handling, form factor as much as eight times smaller than PIN-diode solutions, higher linearity than PIN-diode solutions, fast response-and-recovery time, adjustable limiting threshold and excellent ESD ratings.
