RF Front End Is Reconfigurable

In the March issue of Microwaves & RF, technical contributor Jack Browne discusses Peregrine’s Global 1. Titled “RF Front End Is Reconfigurable”, the article talks about the growing complexity of wireless communication technologies and the challenging RF requirements. Global 1 provides a solution to these challenges – a reconfigurable RF front end (RFFE) that essentially combines many of the performance levels possible with gallium arsenide (GaAs) technologies and the design flexibility of silicon CMOS. The Global 1 reconfigurable RFFE system delivers the scalability to support the large number of frequency bands and modes of operation needed to support the many variants of 4G LTE.
